During Cam Newton's interview with ESPN last night, he said he told Coach Mullen that he was taking his talents to Auburn. Yes, he actually said that. He also referred to himself in the third person. "I had to do what was best for Cam Newton."

The FIA announced a slew of new rules and changes for F1.

Biggest one, at least the most noticeable, is the ban on team orders is now lifted, but the FIA can still punish a team that brings the sport into disrepute. (Meaning anyone other than Ferrari.)

I am sure if you're an F1 fan your usual sites have all the details. (Translation: I am too lazy to bugger around with HTML today.)

Re Cam Newton: The NCAA had concluded a violation of Newton's amateur status had occurred, yet no punishment at all? Not even one game? Nothing? I still don't get it.
