While I was unaware of the LFL as well, there's even a team here in Dallas, I did find the OKC's mayor's comments to be a bit odd.
When asked why he was against the team he replied 'There are too many problems to list," Cornett told the website. "There are so many that I don't want to gravitate to just one.".
Seems to me that he might have found a better word than gravitate, which I assume is a whole lot about what the LFL is all about.
Anyone been to one of the LFL games? I won't judge you, promise.

Bull busts out at Canadian Finals Rodeo. Injures only one spectator thanks to some fancy lasso work by one of the pick-up riders. No video with this link, but I'm sure there will be some of the whole affair soon to follow.

OK City's mayor won't let the Lingerie Football League come to town.
The money quote from the LFL owner- "I thought our plans were for expansion into Oklahoma City, not North Korea."
