for those keeping up with the Favre/Sterger situation, the latest is: Phil Reese, Jenn Sterger's manager, tells The Associated Press that Favre called Sterger last June. Reese declined comment when asked if there were multiple calls, but said Sterger did not answer the phone

Oh my God, the humanity of it all.

Reports indicate Favre admitted to leaving the voicemails for Jenn Sterger. They're saying he denied sending the photos.

In related news, the going joke in Wisconsin lately is that Deanne Favre announced the photos were originally meant for her but were intercepted...

It's a testament to the power of Brett Favre that:

a) His antics from two years ago (and possibly one) are dominating headlines.

b) His team, which is third in the division and can be described as solidly "meh", is appearing on the premiere TV program for the NFL.

As a Packer fan, I like to think we had something to do with your Point #B as well. The matchup between Favre and Rodgers was a bigger story than the Vikings/Packers purported rivalry.
