While this may be blasphemous to say in light of the halftime honoring of George N. Parks that will be taking place at UMass this weekend during homecoming, I think we should petition the NCAA to allow every game to have the same halftime that they had in the UCF/Marshall game last night: Lightning in the area forced the teams to leave the field at the 6:06 mark in the second quarter. The game drew an announced crowd of 23,601 at Joan C. Edwards Stadium, but many of those fans had left by the time play resumed. After such a long delay, game officials decided to cancel halftime.
