Sports Illustrated and Turner to tackle ESPN.
Good. I have a long running boycott of SI going, but perhaps I will not extend it to television. Every time someone says they aren't going to watch ESPN again (because of something like the Lebronathon), I wonder what I would watch on tv if I gave it up.

The SI/Turner deal is only for their web properties, from the link text I expected more, like a new cable channel to compete 24/365 with ESPN.

My reading comprehension needs work. I never go to SI.com unless someone links to an article from it.

And a BIG ...... FUCK YOU to Fox .
Instead of broadcasting O Canada, they went to commercial, but were back to show The Star Spangled Banner. I guess it's better than last year, when they played the Canadian anthem over the loudspeakers at Busch Stadium, of a recording that my high school would have been embarrassed to play.
I did think to switch to the Canadian feed, and watch it, but seriously, FUCK YOU, FOX.
It's probably because The Canadian Tenors aren't starring in a Fox sitcom, that they didn't get airtime.
