Paul Henderson's legendary hockey sweater fetched well over $1-million (U.S.) at auction early Wednesday following a late surge of interest in the historic cloth.

Already been interviewed three times this morning on this. I'm shocked and not shocked -- someone who has an abundance of money and a strong desire to own the only one of something has no ceiling on what he or she will pay.

I hope it goes out on tour or is lent to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
