NY Yankees accused of illegal trading in a report from the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

"The Yankees had no comment on the report, but a source said the team's infraction involved negotiations with Cuban baseball players."

ChevronTexaco traded with Iraq, and paid $14,071 in fines. Perhaps that the fines are truly pathetic?

It's no doubt a check Steinbrenner will write willingly and happily. You could square the fine and he still won't care. He just wants the booty.
