GREAT post...just fucking great!

I'd like to see a report like this for EVERYthing... Sports teams, grocery stores, fast food places, canned goods...EVERYthing... So...get on that, kokaku.

How is "not in [insert home country name]" equal to secret? The teams based in, say, USA or Abu Dhabi aren't relying on laws to hide club financials--if so how would we know so much about the losses and indebtedness of Liverpool and Man United?

I only quoted the headline from the link - the full report has more details. I found it interesting that many English football clubs go to such lengths to shield their earnings from taxes. It would be news if the Yankees or the Red Sox were incorporated in the Cayman islands for sure.

kokaku, most corporations go to extreme lengths to minimize taxes. Microsoft, for instance, runs most of its US sales through an office in Nevada and ExxonMobile paid next to no US taxes despite record earnings. Why should a privately owned football club be different?
