Two Chinese women make the Australian Open semi finals. While I'm still tipping a Justine - Serena final, I've become a big fan of Li Na's skanky tatt.

Assuming Tsonga is about to win the fourth set here against Djokotwit, quite incredibly, it will only be the second time in his grand slam career that he has "gone the distance" (the first time being earlier in this slam).

Looks like Andre Dawson will go into the Hall of Fame as an Expo after all (as it should be, in my opinion).

Ok, I admit I'm a little fuzzy on this, but the college game Washington vs. Seattle last night, the Redhawks only played four men for a portion of the second half against the Huskies due to foul-outs. Isn't that a forfeit if you can't field an entire team to play?

Can't start a game with 4 - that's a forfeit. Can play with 4.

This is definitely not FPP worthy, but Canada announcing its Olympic bobsledders and skeleton teams has some interesting inclusions (well, at least I think they're interesting). CFLer Jesse Lumsden (a veritable "poster boy" of the league who sat out this past season with the Edmonton Eskimos due to a shoulder injury) would be the most obvious example, but so too would Neville Wright.

What I find interesting are these multi-sport athletes. Crossing over from football, or athletics (track) isn't all that uncommon in bobsledding I don't think. Herschel Walker competed in the '92 Winter Games. I know there have been several other crossovers too.

At any rate, it's one thing about the Winter Olympics, and a relatively unpopular sport in non-Olympic years, that I think is kind of neat.

Now I remember. Thanks for the clarification.
