The Mariners are close to inking Chone Figgins. It'll be interesting to see if small ball can compete in 2010.

He's only out a week? After heart surgery?? I had my gall bladder removed a couple years ago, and I was out of commission for a month...

Fixed.

Well, it is his 2nd heart surgery in the past 2 1/2 months. He's got the rehab part down pat.
