RadioShack Corporation form an American ProTour team: and, beginning next year, Lance Armstrong will compete for Team RadioShack "as a cyclist, runner and triathlete," the company announced in a press release.
I was wondering myself if the number of times the word "American" was used in the statement had anything to do with Astana's plans to bring back Vino.

I read that one of the reasons Bruyneal is leaving is that he wanted nothing to do with Vino.

Isn't that a redundancy? "as a cyclist, runner and triathlete," That's two of the three disciplines of triathlon.
Guess there's no drug testing in triathlon...

No, it isn't. A bicycle race is a competitive event. A running race is a competitive event. A triathlon is a competitive event consisting of a swimming leg, a bicycle leg and a running leg. Each leg is not a separate competitive event: if you complete the swim and bike but say "ah fuckit" for the running leg, you get no result.

Give it a rest, Drood. The Astana team bust got stopped and searched at the French border for three hours. TIt was the only team van stopped, and they found nothing. Just give it a rest already.

Kazakhstan will miss Mr. Armstrong, their number one native son, I'm sure.
