Will his blinker be on, turning left the whole race?: Herschel McGriff is attempting to qualify for a NASCAR Camping World West Series race this Sunday at Portland International Raceway. He's the defending champion at the track, having won the last race held there -- in 1986. Oh, did we mention he's 86?

Can the reaction time of an 86 year old man be quick enough to avoid disaster? Or will it be slow enough to cause it? I, personally, would not want to be on the track trading paint with him.

Of course, he probably won't even qualify.

He's actually 81, but it makes Tom Watson seems so ... young!
