Historic Memorial Cup win for Spitfires: The Windsor Spitfires took a road never travelled in the 91-year history of the Memorial Cup. No team had a won a title after losing the first two games of the tournament and having to play the entire field again starting with a tiebreaker. After stumbling at the start, the Spitfires reeled off four straight wins to earn the first championship in the 34-year history of the franchise.
