Fifteen: the new 30 in figure skating. : One wonders what we are doing to these young women in the name of sport. The little jumping beans are rising and falling faster than ever.

Anyway, while I have never been a fan of figure skating as an Olympic sport, this seals it for me.

Gah. This is just fucked up. I'd like to post a more thoughtful, well-reasoned response, but, yeah.

I guess I'll have to cross this, along with ballet, off the list of "things I want my daughter to do."
