IS LATRELL SPREWELL Blacklisted by Stern/NBA ?: Latrell Sprewell

In light of the sorry NBA Draft just a few days ago , and in light of the pretty boring NBA Finals and several teams such as the Dallas Mavericks and especially the Detroit Pistons imploding and falling short of the O'Brien trophy . the question I would like to see answered is , is there a BLACKLIST by the NBA front office involvling Sprewell ? OK he allegedly has a pretty foul attitude , that's not new in Pro Sports and especially the NBA with players like Ron Artest , Rasheed Wallace and several others , but the fact remains that he is a proven scorer and would have helped Several of the teams that fell short of the Championship over the hump . The Pistons especially could have used his 12.8 career ppg , 3.3 rpg and 2.3 assists . His career totals alone would have placed both Detroit and Dallas over the hump and the trophy would NOT be in Miami right now . The mid level exception , SHOULD get him signed since he's been unemployed for nearly two seasons and sign him to a one year deal to see where his head is at . He has the talent , the experience and the explosiveness to have made the difference for several teams , yet he remains unsigned . If attitude is the reason then Neither Artest ,Wallace or Marbury should be in the league , but they are . I would hate to think that Commissioner Stern has some type of active clandestine blacklist against a player who can contribute more to the league than say a Darko Milicic or even a Grant Hill in this point in his career , and it is sad that if this is the case . Either San Antonio or Detroit could have signed him before the playoffs at the pro-rated veterans amount and both would still be sipping the bubbly . So what he wanted more money , WHO DOESN'T ? Lots of teams are probably kicking themselves right about now . Especially the Pistons considering Flip Saunders has had experience coaching him . Will 2006-2007 be another Sprewell-less year ? Is there something fishy in the NBA front offices ? Time will tell .
