Kobe the Virus: Why Kobe is bad for the NBA.
Don't get me wrong he's got talent, he'd be one of the best one-on-one players in the NBA today. But the NBA is a team sport, which means their are other players on the floor. In Kobe's case four other people tring to take the ball from him, it almost seems as if he thinks he's playing against nine instead of 5 vs.5. His lack of team play is a discrace to the legends that came before him. Notice the use of the word legends because it would just be wrong to mention any of their names in any text with Kobe Bryant's name in it. The only reason he has rings is because of Big Daddy being in his prime, and the Zen master at the helm. Its easy to score 80+pts. when you shoot 10+3pt shots and jack-up 40+ shots, Most "TEAMS" have around 40-50 attempts per game. You can compare him to the legends, but the legends in almost every situation would give credit to their teammates for the success. When a Laker game comes on Iturn my TV off, I would rather have teeth pulled with no painkillers. America's youth is poisoned by this fraud of a role model.
