Concern about the Game: Football:At Best/At Worst

Pro Football as we know it. What happens to the game when the job doesn't get done. Example: Broncos/Chiefs game. The Broncos played well. They had a good game plan and they executed it well. On the other hand the Chiefs didn't bring an 'A" game to Denver. These past years Denver has become our most bitter rival. Getting ready for that game is a fan priorty. Why isn't it reflected in the attitude of our Chiefs? Monday night, national audience, Denver. The Chiefs had the arsenal, but not the guts. Makes no sense. A flat week? baloney. Wounded?, every one is wounded, baloney. Even the Broncos said we didn't bring it. What gives here? The players are paid to play to their best ability, The coaches are paid for the same result. Are we being sold a bill of goods? Both fields are sold out, The owners got their money. Did the fans get their monies worth? What is going on here?
