Sports illustraters: Over at Drawn! they are looking for sport artists. A few have been mentioned in the comments section, any other suggestions? (If you are interested in art at all, Drawn is a great blog)

I remember reading Roy of the Rovers, a soccer cartoon and magazine (which included wonders like Hotshot Hamish and a buncha others I can't remember) when I was a wee lad. But no sign of that magazine nowadays. Don't know if those artists are still active or alive. Oh, here's the list of cartoon strips (including the main characters, artists and writers) that were in the Roy of Rovers mag ... Brings back memories ... Hard Man, Mighty Mouse, Nipper, Safest Hands in Soccer ... Good times, good times. And Drawn! is awesome! Good to see a fellow illustration geek here, Fence!
