Weeeelll...the WUSA is scheduled to reappear in a year or so. (And this time, I will go to Breakers games, despite the fact that I'm not a footie-phile)

Not sure if this is the place, but my niece scored her first goal (in her first game no less) on Saturday.

Ah, well my girls had no game last week, due to it being the two-week Easter Break for schools and, with our previous game cancelled due to a wind that would have put any wayward shot somewhere into the Bay of Biscay, we haven't played for about a month now. So we're on a four week stretch of no defeats! Keeping training interesting while there are no games is tough.

We're missing the updates, Tex. Meanwhile, in another hemisphere, I have been appointed assistant coach of my daughter's team. Their first game is on Friday night, and I'll contribute news and results as they come to hand. Meanwhile, on an entirely different planet, the Brunswick Valley old blokes had a 9-2 win on Saturday, against considerably younger opposition. And no, I didn't get one (difficult from sweeper). But I did have a go, putting a shot from outside the box not just over the bar but over the cricket sightscreen as well.
