There's a local movie theater owned by a group of Indian folks that will be showing this tournament on their big screens. That is all. I just thought that it's pretty cool that they will be doing this.

I had no idea Canada had a cricket team. Worryingly, neither did the person who wrote that player guide, because all the Canadians appear to be Scots! (I'll pick my players tomorrow.)

You guys might want to check the cricket news between now and the start. Cabuki - I think Abdul Razzaq may be injured and out. He was going to be my choice for Pakistan, too (I fancy the all rounders).

Thanks for the tip. Having only heard of a handful of players on the England and Australia squads from the Ashes fantasy league, I was just looking for all-rounders. I'll make a new pick for Pakistan and any other changes I might want to make a little closer to the start of the tournament.

There are 16 teams. The first round will be played in groups, then a Super 8 format, then semi-finals then a final. The opening fixture is on March 13, and entries will be accepted up to that date. Schedule of games here. Groups are: Group A: Australia, South Africa, Scotland, Netherlands Group B: Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Bermuda Group C: New Zealand, England, Kenya, Canada Group D: Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland The way the league works is to pick one player from each of the 16 teams. Team and player details here. Scoring is the same as in the Ashes contest - one point for every run by your player, 20 points for every wicket and 10 points for every catch. As an added bonus, and as a tie breaker (if we need one), also pick the four semi final teams and the eventual winning team. Good luck!
