Fantasy Premier League International: Have you EPL fantasy league players seen this email? It's from the same guys that did the EPL league we just completed. It's free and here's the deal: (1) If you played Fantasy Premier League last season you don't need to re-register - just log-in now with your original username and password. (2) You pick Barclays Premiership players participating at this summer's (FIFA World Cup) finals for a squad of 12 players and a manager, for no more than 100million pounds, who will earn points based on their performances at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. (3) The overall winner will receive a VIP trip to a Barclays Premiership game, including two nights' accommodation, pre-match meal, match tickets, all transfers and 250 pounds spending money. (Whateva.) I don't think I'm gonna play but thought you fanta-fanatics might.

Me join too. But totally weird, most of the players are not listed. No Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, or Keller.

No, it's only the players who were playing in the EPL 2005-06 season. EPL. That's it. They could be from any country, but they must have played in the EPL last season. Get it? Get. It?

That makes for a pretty useless competition! Though it's also the answer I got from their support person. FIFA also have a free fantasy game, http://en.fifaworldcup.fantasysports.yahoo.com/, so why don't we set up a league there and get all of the players? I can do it after work tonight.

I'm steering clear of FFL until the next Premiership season. Good luck to all who take part.

Since no one set up a league on the Yahoo site, I just did. Group name is SpoFi, password is sfilter2006. Join up so I can smack you down!

WC, can you use your internal connections to help me out? I didn't get the league ID number and now can't access it, nor is it on the list of groups I'm in.
