Video Killed the Radio Star: - Self-linking? Hell no! I'm linking to the BBC. It's not my fault if they can't find anyone more interesting to interview on a Friday afternoon (at 4PM GMT, 11AM EST).

I'm trying to listen, but the link crashed my browser. I just copied the streaming link to my realplayer (I will not bitch about realplayer I will not bitch about realplayer I will not bitch about realplayer I will not bitch about realplayer), and the file won't render. Sorry, JJ. I tried. Can you see if they can send you a clip of your appearance afterward?

I clearly rock - nearly as much as the music Sybil was playin between soundbites. Still, might be the easiest fiver I ever make if she takes me up on the golfing challenge. Thanks for listening (or trying to chico!).

"Sybil put the Shropshire town of Wem on the map". That'll be the 1:1,000 ordnance survey version, then. Seriously, JJ, have you thought about a deal with the BBC to podcast your ultimate stuff? I forsee a series of programs, one for each sport. It works for Ricky Gervais.

And is there a transcript available? It was the middle of the night here and as much as I love you, JJ...

owlhouse, I don't know if you've got what it takes to be a JJ groupie. Liking that podcast idea though - might be the way forward. I don't think there's a transcript, but there may be a way to get a recording of it. I'm looking into it and will post it on my site if and when anything comes of it.

Speaking of BBC Radio Oxford, when it rains at Banda Aceh airport, the bus that takes you to the plane is an ex Oxford city transport bus, and is plastered with BBC radio adverts, inside and out. The bus was donated through Islamic Relief (also based in Oxford) following the tsunami. I'll have to check the adverts more closely for any photos of Sybil.

*L* Really? I get an Oxford Bus Company Bus every morning! A number 4 (or 4B, C or D) or, indeed, a 5.

If you click on the link on the right side of the page and you have a clever computer, you might catch me talking to the one and only Sybil Ruscoe on BBC Radio Oxford this afternoon. At least, I think it's live. Just for a change, I've gotten myself into something without really understanding what it is.
