Sorry, Manchester Utd is third, not second. But they still capped off a great week by beating defending champions Arsenal 2-0 at Old Trafford, even with some of their best players out injured. Man U moved into third from fourth. Fourth is where my beloved Liverpool lie, after a crap 2-0 loss to mid-table Charlton. This was Charlton's fourth Premiership win in a row, and Liverpool's third consecutive loss. And this time, no blame could be laid on the goalkeeper (England Under-21 Chris Kirkland getting his chance in the limelight over Jerzy Dudek). Former Man U manager Ron Atkinson says Liverpool needs to stop switching the players' positions. Liverpool manager Houllier refuses to panic. Chelsea makes the top two spots an all-London affair, taking Liverpool's spot at no.2 with a 3-1 win away to Liverpool neighbours, Everton. Everton are fifth. Get the rest of the action here ...

StarFucker, you fucker, could you at least extend me the courtesy of getting my report in before you jump in with your comments? Fucker. Look, you already threw me off with your comments. Here's the Injuries link to Physioroom. Fucker.

Heh heh.... By the way, you could easily blame Kirkland for the two goals this week...but there is no WAY the English press is going to...Kirkland is their new darling. If that was Dudek, believe me...he would have been blamed for them. He was way off his line on Konchesky's goal.

SF: So, what must be done about Liverpool? Houllier's brought in Kirkland, but the team still sucks. And he persisted with Heskey until he was re-injured and had to go off (I know, this makes you happy, SF). And Houllier's still talking "We need an ugly 1-0 win." Wow, that's something to aspire to. I'm beginning to think maybe you're right about ol' Houllier. Maybe they should put Phil Thompson in charge. Graaaargh!

Houllier has gone bonkers. Either that or he has no control of the team because of whats coming from upstairs. Heskey's injury is the best news Liverpool have had in the past month. Dudek was not the problem...I have already emphasized the problem(s). Its Heskey, Carragher and Murphy. As long as they are in the lineup, Liverpool will never be a champion. They have enough talent to do it...but it doesn't look like Houllier knows how.
