MLS Fantasy standings, 7/18/04: BillSaysIAmNumberOne: After a weekend in which there were three draws and two wins but no changes in the standings, I have for the moment claimed the top of the table. Who'da thunk it?

BillSaysThisSCORES!!! 5790 Blammos! 5685 goddam maddogs 5545 spacemen 4900 The Drifters 4270 Bosiak Bashers 4220 The Fucker had a strong weekend from Donovan (195 points!) and Gutierrez (145) but Goddam and I both have Guterierrez as well. I had as many from new American star Brian Ching as Donovan made and got boosts from Brian Mullan and Hartmann to get ahead. Could have been better if three of my players had gotten into the games but what the heck.

Because he gives a few points even at the cheap price? And there are only so many trades you get for free?

SF, btw, are you still looking for work? If so, do you have a resume posted online somewhere?

Yes still looking for work. Yes, have a resume online...why?

Because when I was out of work for so long I developed a lot of resources and such that might come in handy even in Chicago, and with the Summer getting towards the end, or at least middle, I thought you might want to get back to work. Or not, send me an email if you want to.

That would be great bill! Should i email you with the email in your profile here? By the way, i had a fucking great MLS Fantasy Weekend... BUT DON'T ASK ME ABOUT THE MAN U - Bayern Munich game!

Email is bill at my user name, which should work just fine. ManU/BM was pretty much a bm. Okay Sir Alex played almost completely youngsters, but then how come the much more senior German side (Mackaay, Ballack, Deisler, Ze Roberto) could not get any serious offense going? I mean, they were also supposed to be much closer to in-season form. Maybe it's the spoiled American in me, but I much preferred the Chelsea-Celtic match. Though not as much as I hope to enjoy tonight's Liverpool-Celtic tie.
