Bag's was low as 4 this week, but managed to make his way back to the top just in time for my friday update. Grum was as high as 3 this week, and Jersey as high as 2. Creative Punch is falling so fast that I might even catch the mystery person. And you guys know, Mo's on the free market now, pick him up at your own leisure.

Crap, one mistake, Bash doesn't lead in K/BB, Pedro does.

I take pride in the fact that my team has improved every week, but has yet to lead in any single category.

Why is it that every time we post this, I fall out of first for a day? And I'm looking to acquire a second baseman, and have some kick-ass OFs on the block.

wfrazerjr: I have Walker at 2B that I'm willing to deal. But unfortunately with the return of Giles and Bradley this week, I'm starting to get a little crowded in the outfield. Maybe we can work something out.

Let's talk, baby!

I need a 1B, looking to ditch a SP for one.

wfrazerjr: I'd propose a deal, but I have one in the works with PeteyStock but I haven't heard anything back yet.

Throwing down my nickel package. 5 of my starters take the mound saturday. should lead to a jump or dump in the standings. btw everyone but helton is available. would love to drop my entire outfield - it's so bad i picked up a tiger.

catfish - Lowell isn't worth Ramirez, to answer your question. sorry we couldn't work something out!

no prob. you wanted mags & lowell, i needed 2 solid OF's. maybe we can put something together a bit later.

If Roger Clemens gets his 300th @ Fenway, will the fans boo or cheer him?

posted by djacobs at 10:56 PM on May 11, 2003

on sports radio, there's been a local rallying call for fenway fans to "do the right thing" and "be classy". if it was anyone else - and i mean anyone - you'd have the fans doing the "right thing". but with Clemens... a Yankee no less... i doubt it.

That's the difference with Toronto fans. We boo you if we think you've betrayed us (Alomar, Clemens) but give us 2 years and we'll cheer your return again. We do forgive in the end, especially if the career is almost over and you do something wonderful. David Wells has some work to do still...
