I am amazed I stayed third after last weeks results. I have had a radical overhaul of team and formation and confidently expect to get about a million points this week.

Bloody hell! Having filled my team with Manchester Utd and Arsenal players I was sure this week would see a renaissance. Both at home too. Bloody hell. And this is the week I choose to dump Anelka. Christ!

FB: Don't look now, but I think you're gonna get nutmegged by corpse. He has two matchwinners -- Yorke and Sun Jihai -- on his team. My bright spots today were that Schwarzer didn't lose, and Murphy scored.

Starfucker: They have to wait for the last game, which was Sunderland v. Bolton sometime today.

That game was already over by the time you posted your last comment pfuller...

That game was already over by the time you posted your last comment pfuller... Hence, was (past tense) Sunderland v. Bolton sometime (I didn't know what time it was) today. That was also just a guess, I don't know the exact reason.

Whew, cool it on the pedantry there, guys. There's no reason yahoo! couldn't have updated our scores before the Sunderland game. Their normal policy has been to update 24 hours after each day's games have been played. It looks like my individual score has been updated, and my position has changed in the overall standings. However, the private leagues don't seem to have changed. My guess is they didn't want to have to make three changes (after Saturday, Sunday and then yesterday) and are saving it up for today. I normally see changes by 9am PST, but my SpoFi position and points are still the same. So, I think they're still doing a little catch up. I'd even give it another day. Guess we get what we pay for. ;-)

Sorry about that, I must just be jealous of Starfucker's position relative to mine. In better news (for me), if my calculations are correct I have finally jumped up into the 14th spot. Whoop!

Mossy 273.00 17. sauril 0.00 After a week off, we're back in the thick of things. Aside from a glorious week in the Premiership and Champions Leagues for my boys Liverpool, it's been a frustrating one for me. I scored in the whopping high 60's but only managed to stay in place. However, the real shuffling happened between 1 and 2, with StarFucker reclaiming the top spot from elsoltano. In the #11-#14 range, eckeric was the biggest mover, climbing two spots to 12th. In other news, "latecomer" pfuller continues to close the gap on the rest of us. Last time, he closed the gap between #15 and #14 from 72 to 44 pts. This week, he's less than 17 points away. The breakthrough is coming.
