In 1989(I think), Strawberry ran out of the Mets dugout and made a beeline to the pitcher's mound to attack the Red's Tom Browning, for his continued beaning of Mets players. It was such an unusual way for a baseball fight to start, without the catcher slowing the batter down, because Straw was determined to get in a few punches. Anyway, it was mostly grabbing and rolling around, as usual. After the game a reporter asked him what was going through his head when he ran out and he said: "Browning was dead meat." I always thought that was wonderfully high school sophomorish, from my era at least. I wonder if kids still say "dead meat" in high school.
Shockey calls Parcells "the homo".
