I also grew up blocks from Wrigley and have seen her get old over the decades. And yes, I think it's time to lay her to rest. Nothting hurt like seeing the black netting trying to keep chunks of wrigley together in the 04 season. That and the fact that it's turned into the worlds largest gay bar in the last couple of years. Is it me or do the people running things care more about wrigley that the actual Cubs? It has been a very long time since that last win, and maybe they should invest in an actual winning team instead of trying to make Wrigley "better".
