Hey, Clarett, This is How You Get Drafted Early

Hey Clarrett? You could say hey PacMan or hey Williams (wr Det.) or hey any other person who has taken the wrong route into and out of the NFL, or we could talk about the countless too numerous to mention failures of young men in other sports who have skipped college, or left after a year or so. This young man from Louisville looks to be the real deal. Good in the NFL or not, which I think he will be, he has many other options to fall back on with his degree. Failures are long harped on and get longer and brighter coverage than do the successes.

2007 NFL Draft.

Fact of the matter is , they don't know. It is their best guess and well some of them aren't to good at it. As for the 6'+ laser rocket arms, you obviously have never seen him throw. As for the height, well let me see Drew Brees, Jeff Garcia (not for the recent so much as the 3 pro bowls before), JP Losman, those are just a few starting now under 6'1 or so. We don't even need to go to some of the older guys. I am not going to predict greatness but will say this, Watch where he is after the combines..then this whole debate can be revisited.

Tressel Skipped Final Coaches' Poll Vote

Don't mis-quote, he said that he did not feel it was fair to vote one way or the other. His team has already beaten one of the upstarts and they will crush Florida. It's time for all to see that the SEC is not the great power that ESPN's ex-players and coaches make it out to be. Tressel is a gentleman, unlike the jolly fat guy from Texas Tech, now there is a real top 5 program for ya, oh wait...has TT ever been in the top 10, let alone the top 5. Speak when spoken to and keep your comments to those that care about what you say. The people down at the doughnut shop! OSU and Coach Tressel serve the Buckeye State proud. Can't wait to see UM destroy USC. What will they have to say about the SEC when the Big10 finishes 1-2 in the country? GO BUCKS!!

USC's 2004 BCS Championship Could Be In Jeopardy

I don't hope they take the title away but if rules were violated they should. Punishment for USC should be no different than for Ohio State, Oklahoma or any other program that has been found guilty of violations. There are alot of comments off the subject of the thread. Underage drinking is not only a football problem or college problem it is societies problem. Athletes should be paid a set amount across the board but that would not stop someones parents from accepting a house or money. The problem is with elite athletes and in many cases their parents in almost all the sports. They are spoiled put on a pedestal and given preferential treatment from the day they show talent.

Bonds to return this week????

Bonds "situation" and steroids in baseball ridiculous! I was sitting there watching the Bonds reports (ESPN) and thought, this guy and RP as well as others are being persecuted for using or maybe using steroids when THE IS NO DOCUMENTED PROOF that steroids used by men are harmful. Now wait before you spout off, point me to the URL to an article from the AMA or a clinical study that proves it. Don't show me some government statement. I know it hurts children and women, there is documented proof of that. Don't give me the Alzado story. I liked the guy but he was ill to begin with. Anyway I'm sitting there and they show Barry live in the dugout and he is stuffing his cheeks with Copenhagen or Skoal and going about his business. Now there is documented proof that tobacco DOES cause cancer and many other ailments. Why is that something that is acceptable? Answer - MONEY, tobacco companies poor millions into government. They have billions to fight government. BTW I don't use steroids but do use smokeless tobacco. Think about it.
