Rutgers has been making it to bowl games because they have gotten good. The big east is becoming a dominant football conference - look at its record in the past few years bowls. I'm not happy about the Notre Dame aspect but I won't whine like pullmyfinger and tsJuan.

Don't get me wrong pullmyfinger. My point is that the Big East's 4th ranked team could have a pretty good record. Think USF, Cincinnatti, West Va, Rutgers, and Pitt. I don't know much about the big 12 so 7th sounds kinda weak but if they have a really big conference who knows.
