Ok, it happened again and I had some time, so I created a screenshot. This was using Firefox 1.5.0.3 on Windows XP Pro: screenshot.

And in Firefox, which is the most standards compliant browser available. Not that I'm fussed: I can hit refresh. But if you don't point things out then people won't be aware of them. Now everybody breathe.

In windows, press the "print screen" button and it will be in your clipboard. Open up MS Paint and press Ctrl-V. Save it and upload it to an image hosting service, and Bob's your uncle. EDIT: beat me to it there NoMich!

No, but I have huge problems sometimes with the posting text box and previews not working in the latest Mozilla Firefox. A refresh fixes it, so I can get by. Basically the text box is sometimes only half drawn and when I preview, the "preview" and "post" buttons appear halfway up the text box. It's a sporadic problem. Next time I see it I'll grab a screenshot and link it here.

Ok Matt, point taken. It is difficult, and I was riding a fence.

Any other homebrewers out there? Yeah: here's a tip for your next batch of porter (or stout): use black treacle instead of sugar. You'll know why when it's ready.

we agreed to keep things small at first and add as necessary Yeah, it should become obvious after we've had a few months to get into pattern.

I was wondering if anyone else can submit an article for the "columns" section? </offtopic>

It's "soccer" that's plain wrong, since it's the more popular sport, but I don't see it changing, so I'm happy to do mental backflips while reading the site. At least everyone knows what it means ... As for "football": given soccer, it's obvious. I'd personally like to see separate Rugby and F1 categories since they are also huge outside the states, but it depends if there's enough interest I suppose. Gridiron is just confusing, and I think Aussie rules etc will be so rare that they can go in "other".

Matt, can I ask that you don't take out the "post some bio crap here" from the profile pages? Otherwise I'll only have to change it again ...

How about spoilers go inside a [more] link, which reads [spoilers] instead? Simple and effective.

Having posted this it just worked on the front page! Anyway, it's fluctuating.

Maybe the text should just be parsed to substitute 'sux' for every occurrence of 'rox'. Please do this.
