A-Rod a Mud Hen?: Alex Rodriguez was offered a lucrative minor league contract from the Toledo Mud Hens. Of course it came from one of George Steinbrenner's sons. Will this be the only offer he gets considering he is asking for a $350 million contrat just to begin negotiations?

Barton Wins D2 basketball championship in amazing fashion: With 45 seconds left and 7 points down, Barton comes back and wins the D2 championship. Anthony Atkinson scores 10 points in less than a minute to end Winona State's 57 game winning streak. One of the most dramatic finishes of any basketball game, let alone a championship game.

Donovan, Dempsey, Twellman picked: for Bob Bradleys first training camp with the USMNT. I see some glaring omissions, not including the Euro based players. I am not sure that the team Bradley assembled could even finish in the top five in CONCACAF. In a side note, Twellman turned down the invitation to recover from a sports hernia injury.
