Greg Ryan wants to talk about moving forward with players that stick together! What a bunch of SHIT ! When that worthless piece of shit said that if his decision to change goalkeepers turned out to be a bad one that he could live with that. Who is looking out for himself with a statement so ridiculous as that? He didn't think of the effect that that move would have on the rest of the team or the rest of the U.S.A. for that matter. There is nobody to blame but himself and if he thinks that kicking the best goalie that they have off the team makes him look good then he is just fucking stupid! This is the biggest coaching blunder in any sport in recent memory and if this idiot is not fired then soocer in this country will take another undeserved hit.

Gary Bettman is the worst commisioner in professional sports today! First he makes a T.V. deal with a station that hardly anyone can get even if they wanted to, now he is blocking the sale of a franchise that has lost over 70 miilion dollars since they came into the league. If anybody tries to tell me that Kansas City is a better hockey market than southern Ontario then I want some of what they are smoking because anybody who knows hockey knows better than that. I have nothing against Kansas City, but when the opportunity to strengthen the league as a whole is being prevented by the guy who has already fucked things up enough, I have to shake my head and realize that pretty soon there may not be an N.H.L to worry about.

ESPN has an agenda which included trashing nascar until they got on the clue train and now have coverage and their own nascar show. Now they talk about nascar like they have been covering it for years when any nascar fan who has been around knows that they don't know shit about it! It is the same with the nhl, now that they don't cover it,all they can do is think about ways to trash it. When they used to cover it they spoke about all the positives of the game now they just dismiss it as a secondary sport. ESPN gives more coverage to so-called sports such as poker and hot dog eating contests than they do to a lot of real sports. I am not knocking either one of those events, but lets be honest and say that they are entertainment not sports. ESPN has gotten so big that they feel they can do and say whatever they want about sports without any repercussions, the problem is that they can because people allow them to get away with it. Until people start to boycott their programming or contact their advertisers to complain nothing will change.

If blogging during a game is an infringement against the NCAA or any other institution such as the NFL, NBA, MLB, or the NHL, then ESPN and other news outlets should not be able to give live updates for any other events except what they have paid for. The NCAA is one of the most poorly run organizations in this country, and it's a damn shame that our young athletes are subjected to this type of mismanagement.

I hope Billy Donovan does well in the N.B.A. but history says he won't. The only thing I hope is that any kids who signed letters of intent to go to Florida, thinking that he would be there, should have the right to opt out now.

I don't care if you like A-Rod or not, if you are getting paid the money that these professional athletes get paid you have to make that play. There is obviously a reason that the Toronto third baseman has played in the minors for 15 years and this just shows why. If you call it Bush League than you don't know anything about competition or Baseball for that matter.

The only reason Alabama fans show up all over in their motorhomes is because they have not seen any good football at Alabama since Bear Bryant retired!

Hey,l love Ronaldinho, but there is no way in hell he is as good at free kicks as Beckham. Definitely one of the best ever at free kicks!

Once again it comes back to leadership. As long as Matt Millen is running this team they will never get any credibility or any better. There is obviously no discipline from him or the coaching staff about players running their mouth to the media. Roy Williams is a nobody, and until someone lets him know that, things will not change. I am so glad that I got rid of my season tickets when Barry Sanders retired!

I am sorry joecab but I don't think the Pistons are going to choke in the big game like your USC trojans did in the Rose Bowl, and if you didn't notice Isiah Thomas has been out of Detroit for quite a long time.

It's a damn shame that the NFL players union thinks that they're spoiled, millionaire, crybaby athletes should make more money than the people who took the risk and put up the money to buy a football franchise.I say lock them assholes out just like hockey did and see how much they like that shit!

Torre Leaving New York After Turning Down Incentive-Linked Contract
Another classless move by George Steinbrenner! If the club wanted to move on with another manager that's fine, but to make an offer that they knew Torre would turn down just to save face with the public, that's classless! Is anybody else being asked to take a 33% paycut on the yankees, such as Brian Cashman, NO! They are losing one of the best managers in baseball history. Sure you can say look at the payroll or look at the talent, but the bottom line is that Joe Torre does not decide which players to hire, Brian Cashman does and if you ask me he has done an absolutely terrible job in the last 5 years. He spent 20 million on a washed up Roger Clemens for less than half a season in which he was hurt most of the time. He should be the one taking a big pay cut! Besides who else are they going to find that can handle the New York media and the assanined Steinbrenner family. All I can say is good luck yankee fans.
