Average life expectancy for females is about 78. I don't think all the White Sox hatred helped the bitter lady live a longer life. One less Cubs fan to listen to lament and talk about "next year." GO SOX!!

It's too bad they can't pick players in sports like they do for symphonies, completely blind. The only thing they consider is how well they play. Each player is behind a curtain and is not seen by the committee, so they can't judge them based on race, sexual preference, obesity, anorexia, acne, or any of the other nonsense that the media seems to thrive on to sell papers or get viewers. I'm also concerned that there aren't more African-Americans in the NHL and the Olympic swim teams. Maybe we should run this one up the flagpole too.

Is that because only heterosexuals are tough? Please! Can anyone else tack on a few more cliches.

Unfortunately, the press and others feel the need to categorize people into groups or shove them into neat little boxes for their own purposes. I think this issue has as much relavence as the color of her skin. Maybe they'll create a new box for African-American Lesbian Athletes with shoe deals.

Hard-Core Cubs Fan Dies After Sox Win Pennant
willthrill72... You're only proving my point. Besides, the Cubs have the biggest marketing machine in the world, the Tribune. If they're not talking about the Cubs on WGN-TV, they're on WGN Radio, if not there, then in the Chicago Trib. If you're not from Chicago, you'ld think there's only one MLB team here... well actually there is, and they're 3-0 in the World Series.
