Joe D. does have a couple of rings and an NBA Finals MVP award compared to zero for Barkley, but of course "the round mound of rebound" does seem like a shoe in. Joe D. was also a defensive specialist as well as a scoring guard, the complete package, also very deserving. And Wilkins will go in without any rings, but "the human highlight film" has reel after reel of highlights showcasing his exceptional ability.

Let the implosion of the Dallas Cowboys begin! You know the media is going to drive the rest of the team crazy with one T.O. question after another. It's going to be a freakshow within a circus within a soap opera.

Will Kornheiser be able to stay awake that late? He's always saying how 9:00 is his bed time. Or is that yet another attempt at humor by him that I don't get?

How have the Duke Blue Devils, Arizona State Sun Devils, New Jersey Devils, and even the Wake Forest Demon Deacons overcome this crippling problem?

"Or care about how it affects your merchandising income. Which I guess they would, seeing as they're a business." I would bet if they did a focus group about merchandising, they would find out that having Devil in their name gives them a "coolness". Why do you think that teams change their uniforms to black, or at least add some black? Because the kids think it's cool and hence, they buy it. The problem isn't with the name, it's what they've done on the field to date.

"When they liked something we did, they would refer to us as the Rays. If they were discussing a complaint or gripe, we were the Devil Rays," [team president Matt] Silverman said. Right. But so what? I mean you have to be crazy to have that bother you.

Focus groups are what's evil here!

I certainly don't expect to be agreed with 100%! Oh, how I wish Chad Johnson to be paralysed from the neck down! Am I bad? Too bad! My opinion is wasted on the pansies. They want to have their pixie dances. Dance, sissies, dance! If that's what you live for!

I didn't think so. And perfect grammar to boot, you sissy!

Oh no, the grammar police got me! Do you have anything insightful to add besides pointing out someone used an e instead of an a?

STLCardinalfan, you put it right. It's the planning. It just reeks of sissy shit. I'm not an old guy, but where I come from, I was weened on a tough as nails, bloody knuckles football. And to me, these performances are for the sissies.

You would have to be a "Simpsons" fan to have a good laugh at drjimmy post. I am, but I still disagree with your sentiment. Is what these players do after a TD a big deal? Not so much. They can make themselves out to be morons if they want to. When I see Owens do sit ups, or Johnson putt a football with a pylon, I can't help but think what idiots they are. And what an enormous lack of imagination. For every time in which they did a TD performance, and their team lost, is an embarrassment to them in my opinion. They can stick their chests out as much as they want, good for them personally, but what if you end up losing the game, you idiot? Because, essentially, that's supposedly the reason they play the game. TO WIN! Not who had the best TD performance.

I don't think I could take kickers doing their own dances, celebrations, etc. after every field goal. In fact, I know i couldn't. I might even resort to being one of those numb skulls that run on the field, just to be able to stop that sort of nonsense.

What's everyone's opinion of a fan who would rather see a wide receiver carted off the field in an ambulance after taking a vicious hit than see what new little stunt he's come up with to celebrate a TD? It must be the linebacker mentality in me.

Of course, this type of business practice is good for the consumer, you know, the fan. How I love the draft and the salary cap. The draft and the salary cap offer hope to the fan. Just like the reduction of scholarships in college athletics have evened the playing field to the point to where the Goliaths can struggle and the Davids dreams don't seem so far fetched. I'm a die hard Wolverine fanatic myself. No 7-4 team deserves a New Years bowl game, and that goes for Iowa too. The bowl system is a joke to me. Iowa is playing on Jan. 2nd, and teams like the Miami Hurricanes and LSU Tigers are not. The only bowl games which I watch anymore are the game which the Wolverines are playing, and the championship game. All others have no significance to me at all!

The Return of Ocho Cinco
I don't get it. What is the correlation between Chad and the Spanish language? I'm guessing none. Nonsense and this guy just go hand in hand.
