Dont worry about the dragons jersey oh, the money itself will be fine. Hell id even accept it as credit at the nfl or mlb store. that would save you the trouble of mailing the cash. They just email me a code. If you wanna do it that way ill find out how much it would cost to ship it and get back with you tomorow.

Im consolidating the names of my fantasy football teams from various leagues, and cant decide which name to go with. Does anyone have a jersey that would go with a name like dragons, knights, caesars or scorpions?

Yes deffinitly see "clerks 2" one of kevin smiths best. when i was taking "intro to psychology" we were studying subliminal messages. our professor showed us a magic eye picture, and as everyone in the class was staring at it, i slammed my fists on the desk and yelled "WHY CANT I SEE THE GOD DAMNED SAILBOAT?!!!" the class went silent and eveyone looked at me like i was insane, but one person in the back of the room was giggling like someone was tickling him. He was the only one who got it, and i knew i had found a buddy.

Speaking of proofreading, is anyone here computer inclined enough to know why mozilla would not apply on my computer, other than my computer sucks? Ive been fighting with this for weeks now.

chico, lbb, are you guys serious with these questions? In case you are (which i doubt) ann frank was the jewish girl who wrote the diary that everyone had to read in seventh grade. she was niether blind, nor deaf. Hellen keller was both. In the movie clerks 2, one of the main charecters, randall, confuses the two. the lines quoted here by hater, and mr.bismarck are both from that movie. you must be as blind as Ann Frank -hater Anne Frank, the chick that was all duhhh, until that miracle worker showed up and knocked the smarts into her. -Mr Bismarck

Hater, just for the "clerks 2" reference i wish i had something of interest to trade to you.

Thing is bo, he really doesnt have anything i want.

Dont feel bad bo, i was the exact oppisite and it isnt cool either. College scouts came to seem me and said things like "son i love your tenacity, and your tackling fundamentals are outstanding, but you wont last one play in the big ten."..."big east"..."mac"..."missouri valley conference"... you get the idea..."without getting broken." im a little bigger now, but not by alot. I think we need a fourth angle on this trade. I should point out that the pennington jersey is authentic. Everything on it is sewn on. with elastic down the sides, and around the sleeves. Its a really sharp jersey.

sorry guys i was watching the facists- ahem republicans debate. yeah bo, what do you have in an XL or smaller (preferably smaller)
posted by elijahin24 at 09:45 PM on January 30, 2008
damn bo, that sucks, im quite a bit smaller than you. I will tell what i have to negotiate with, i have some minor league baseball jerseys, mostly single A teams, most have been game worn. i have a new with tags chad pennington jersey. it was sent to me by mistake in an ebay auction and the seller said keep it, but i dont like the j-e-t-s. sorry cjets. I have a west virginia football jersey(pretty new), a florida state jersey(pretty used) and an all but new scott rollen cardinals jersey that i will likely never wear again. most are size medium or large, but a few xl. let the bidding commence. (and now a message from my wife) p.s. To anyone who thins out my husbands jersey collection, thank you elijahin's wife

What size bo, and what can i interest you in, this shit-cold january night, in exchange. ...btw, Who likes the football cardinals? (yes i know i specified in a previous thread that i wanted football jerseys, but wtf, i wouldnt have baseball jerseys to trade if i didnt want them, now would i?)
posted by elijahin24 at 05:54 PM on January 30, 2008
If anyone has a 49ers or cardinals throwback, they'd like to part with, tell me what you'd like in trade.
posted by elijahin24 at 05:26 PM on January 30, 2008
Ive got some minor league baseball jerseys, i would gladly trade for some more obscure football jerseys. semi-pro, small college, etc. not novelty shirts. All due respect to malcolm, but a white guy in southern indiana with a malcolm x shirt would just look like a poser.

(redshirt) I cant really claim to be a rook since I have technically been on for almost 2 years. Hey old farts! I thought this question was for newbies? What do I like and dislike?...Well I love the fact that we are all sports fans, rather than just homers. I like that people tease each other here like real sportsfans do. I like the diversity of viewpoints, and personalities. I like that there is someone on here at almost any time of day. I think we all know how I feel about the way that newbies get chastised for spelling, grammar and punctuation, but I think that issue has already been addressed in, I think, a positive way. (even if it got there by less than positive means) I like that there are standards here. I do think they are a bit too strict, but I like that they exist. I think the locker room should be more noticeable. and some explaination of it as well. thats all I can think of for now.

BTW, No i don't have a hit list, and even if i did, if im too lazy to reach for the shift key, do you really think i have the work ethic to track down someone on the internet who could, for all i know, be much much bigger than me? and yes the caps thing is a matter of laziness.

By the time i saw a computer with full internet access again, i couldnt remember my pass word. I thaught i was just using elijahin24 now, but i guess not. I'll look into it. If i can, ill close the old one.

I couldnt agree with cjets more. Nakeman has been nothing but stand-up. The beginning of this whole thing, for which he blames himself is the result of a perfectly understandable statement that he made, without all the information. He didnt have all the information because its a web site, not the FBI. Nobody could have been expected to assume any of the things that he learned about me. At this point, I hope anyone who blames any of this on Nakeman, can forgive him. Im relatively certain that the only person on that list would be Nakeman himself. I now consider that subject closed. second i will not defend my spelling anymore. I will not defend my lack of caps anymore. As you can see, i am making a serious effort in both departments. I will still miss one on occasion, i hope thats ok. as for my behavior regarding this entire situation, i probably did bring alot of the early part of this on myself. I still think some of you kept pushing after i had backed down (apparently surrender wasn't enough?) but that doesn't make it ok that i would get that upset over a thread on a web-site. the reason i didnt comment from october of 05, until last month, is that i was in a place that has very limited internet access for the majority of that time. Im told that since i've been back i get way to angry, way to quickly. This is the first time i've noticed. Again, that doesn't excuse my behavior. As it turns out, all the other sports-related blog/chat/message board sites, that i have found tonight, kinda suck compared to this one. So i put it to you: I would like to come back, if you'll have me. I will continue to try to spell better, and use caps at least at the beginning of sentences. im having a hard time installing firefox, but i'll get it worked out before i go to bed. My only requests are as followes: let me come back, and can we forget this other shit, and just talk sports?

Best All-Time Baseball Broadcaster?
Joe Morgan is a baseball encyclopedia, but he is so fond of himself, that i cant stand to listen to him. And i do love McCarver
