To be honest, I've only played fantasy football once, and I came in when the season was half over. Needless to say, I got my butt handed to me on a plate because the good players were already drafted. I do know a guy who played and they started pre-draft. You were required to draft so many rookies. I don't know how that affected the game, though.

Wulfgar! I'm ready whenever for football. I'll pass on Baseball, but I'm definately in for Football. How soon is too early to get started, (the draft is comin' ya know)?

Since the draft was approaching, I was gonna ask if any one wanted to do SpoFi fantasy football. (It's the only sport which allows us all to take breather between games, ya know).

As long as the user numbers stay low, I think it a great idea, the more boldly humiliating, the better. But trying to resolve 15 wagers after any given Sunday in October might get a bit dicey, if the user base increases (like it will).

Not that anything judged is really a sport, (heh, heh), but I give Salma Hayek a solid 6 for presentation, and 5.9 for technique. (6 point scoring, of course.)

There are real gray areas however. I love dog shows (oh jebus, did I actually admit that in public?) Actually, I just love dogs, but many in the competative world consider it a sport. I've never really groked that concept. So, whats the word, is chess a sport or a game? Is poker a sport? Are dog shows appropriate grist for this mill? My personal thought is yes, those things should be included because of the competative nature of the endevour. I'd hate to see someone get told to hit the showers because what they post is in that gray area, vibe-wise that is.

Its gonna happen, you know it is. I'm a Bronco fan, and you don't think I'm gonna be a magnet for "sucks" comments? I agree that those kind of postings/laments need to be dealt with extreme prejudice. This ain't Mefi, and Matt is not the benevolent ruler here. If someone wants to troll with "the Raiders just suck", then kick 'em them hell out. (p.s. They really do, the Raiders I mean.)

I don't immediately see a problem with it, so, with a sense of unease, I'll ask: What do you see problematic with the cut and paste of crossposts, owillis?
