as a lifelong Laker fan who was imprinted upon by Chick's incredible voice for nearly 20 years, this is one of my saddest days. The door will never close, the lights will never be out, the jello has stopped jiggling and the butter has stopped getting hard.

Nuggets trade entire offense to Dallas for washed-up veterans.

That is an explosive lineup, but to me, it looks like the Kings of a few years ago: fantastic offense, no D, and we all know what the Lakers have done to those kinds of teams over the years in the playoffs.
