Brett is/was a great QB, but I am happy to remind everybody that sports, like life, is cyclacle. The Bears have been at Favre's mercy for too long, and it is great to see this going down as it is. Favre's biggest enemy may be proving to be his own ego. As much as I hate him because I'm a Bears fan, it still hurts to see anybody as good as he stick around longer than they should. Leaving after last year would have kept him on his pedestal; now he just looks pathetic, as does the rest of the organization. The Bears, like other teams, have been losing good players to injuries for years; now the cheeseheads can have a taste of what it's like to play a season with half a team. But really, GB's management hasn't been the same for years- they will be sowing thier bad seed for more than just a year or two. And after last Sunday's game, the Bears' D is going to turn whatever QB GB puts on the field into roadkill (I can't wait!)
