So: Will it be Brazil or will it be Germany?

Brazil 2-Germany 1. (But the true star will be Collina.) I'm curious -what do the Portuguese think about their former colony always in the glorious spotlight ?

Are the next Korean Presidential elections and the FIFA refs favoritism of Korea linked?

"Five goals against the South Koreans, 150-1 outsiders at the start of the tournament, have now been disallowed...statisticians say that the chance of one team benefiting from five errors by officials in almost consecutive games is 'infinitesimal'."

Merry King Sepp's low blow.

He has supposedly been the one pushing refs to call offsides more aggressively and to yellow/red card players more frequently who fake fouls. Now when refs do what he asked, he blames them. He should blame himself first for having provided such bad refs in the first place.

Italian soccer club Perugia fires South Korea's Ahn Jung-hwan for knocking out Italy.

Italian press reported he had already been let go well before the game. Maybe the club president was looking for press coverage of any kind.

Italy cries foul!

Stare at the picture .....and simply imagine if the Ecuadorian ref had unjustly booted out a Korean attacker and unjustly cancelled a Korean golden goal....no pressure, no pressure whatsover

Italy cries foul!

Its understandably frustrating that in EVERY game Italy played in this Cup they were playing against their opponents, the ref, and the linesmen.
