I'm just curious, I thought he was posting from the US point of view a while back. I'm going to confess that I find the "adopters" fairly baffling. I'm Irish, we sure ain't in it (thanks Israel!) and I'm still watching it all but can't imagine getting so foul mouthedly invested in another country's team. But different horses, I guess . . . .

What does it take to save penalties?
You hear this in relation to other athletes too - Alex Rodriguez is the one that springs to my mind, commentators will say "there's that jealousy, he's so wealthy, so talented, so handsome". But I've never heard anyone at yankee stadium say "I hate that A-Rod, he's so bloody good looking". It's odd.
