He went a little overboard coming down the line into home plate... Agreed, but at least they showed the coach laying into the kid after the umpire threatened to eject him for hotdogging. IMO, the other kid's "called shot" was much worse (especially since he only hit a double, but that's not the point), since the kid was apparently not reprimanded for making an ass out of himself and everybody associated with the team.

If the Texans traded their #1 pick to the Patriots, would that be the first time the Super Bowl champs had the first pick in the draft the next year? Wouldn't that guarantee Julius Peppers as the first pick then? They obviously don't need another quarterback...

I don't think the Mike Sherman bit has anything to do with the legality of the hit, but rather the fact that Sapp was celebrating while the guy he hit was down on the field NOT MOVING.
