Hidden: Kidd files for divorce from wife Joumana of 10 years: The papers accuse Joumana Kidd of kicking, hitting, punching and throwing household objects at her husband as she became "increasingly controlling and manipulative" in the last few years of their union...It's no wonder the Nets have been struggling.

This article is from my hometown of Trenton, NJ and even though it is my hometown, I personally don't see any reason to be talking about this. The situation between Jason & Joumana Kidd is a private matter and should remain that way. Just because J-Kidd is a professional athlete and is in the limelight, there are still some bounderies that should not be crossed and I believe that this is one of them. I may be alone in this but I have to say that a man's (or woman's) divorce proceedings should remain private and stay between the two parties. I just don't see what this has to do with anything relevant as far as what J-Kidd does on the court. Everyone has some sort of problem(s) in their lives but ours are just not as magnified as professional athletes and/or celebrities. I have more to worry about than the Kidd's divorce, like the letter I got in the mail yesterday saying that my damn cable provider (Comcast) is taking HBO off basic cable subscribers (like myself) unless they upgrade to digital cable. Anybody want to talk to about that?

Anybody want to talk to about that? Deplorable. Criminal. Yet - completely common it seems. However, the best thing about digital cable is the guide. I can't remember how I used to watch TV without it. Oh wait, yeah I do - click, click, click, click, click.... I have digital cable, but I don't get HBO. We have a great many of their shows on specialty channels or can be downloaded for free. Canada... Is there anything you can't do? (And the answer is: Purchase a handgun.)

You damn right it's criminal, Weedy. As much as I been paying for cable as it is and to recieve a letter stating that my HBO will be taken off unless I upgrade sounds like blackmail to me. "....the best thing about digital cable is the guide" But I don't need a guide if the only channels that I watch are ESPN and HBO or whatever other channel that has a game on. Other than that, I'm on XBox Live.
