And I must say I'm making my picks drunk as a skunk (however drunk a skunk gets) eating the worst Subway I've ever had after attending a crazy Mardi Gras party. All the while wondering who this women is that must have drove me home. I will regret this post in the morning but right now at my age I'm feeling pretty proud of myself. WOW I have a lot of beads.

I hate the fact that I "hedged my bets" by picking NE to win, even though I was cheering for Denver. I thought it would protect me if I was disappointed by Denver losing, but it did nothing but ruin my chances at winning. If you flip that game, I'm only 4 back of the lead.

I had both teams correct and locked plus three other correct answers, so I should have 29 instead of 19 for last week. I was also going to ask a similar question to Goyoucolts regarding the last question. Do those points get awarded after the winner has been determined (and just perhaps change the final order), or do they get awarded to the player with the most points after all other points have been awarded but before the winner has been determined?

If everybody with a decent chance of winning picks themselves to win, I think that bonus has the practical effect of cutting three points off the first place player's lead. I may retire that one after this contest. So it has one final chance to throw us into a logical conundrum of epic proportions.
