Quick comment on the outcome of the game: in the 1985 Super Bowl, all the talk was about the Dolphins' offense and how the Niners could possibly stop it.
Meanwhile, the Niners offense felt overlooked and asked themselves aloud: "why isn't anyone asking how Miami is going to stop US"? They proceeded to play accordingly.
In that spirit, I have a sense that the Denver defense is growing weary of hearing about how good Seattle's defense is, and the Broncos' D is going to be ready to play and will exceed people's expectations when they take the field. That factor will determine the outcome of the game.

This has proven to be one of the toughest games to pick that I can remember. The determining factor for me, though, is the fact I just can't take hearing about or seeing Peyton Manning any longer. My god, the guy is everywhere and on everything! Having him win the Super Bowl, as well as the game MVP (which is a certainty if the Broncos win), is just too much. With that in mind:
Seattle by 6 +1
Eric Decker (once again; I don't know why)
Marshawn Lynch
Marshawn Lynch +1
Russell Wilson
Byron Maxwell
Shaun Phillips

I know you are trying to lose, but the total points = 3 guess isn't so terrible if the wind/weather gets really freaky.
To definitely lose, you should have chosen 1 point.

I mean, if it's a 3-0 game, I figure it'll be on a last-second 65-yard FG by surprise kicker John Youboty, named as Super Bowl MVP- in which case, I'm so winning this thing cuz ain't NONE of you picked that. :)

Dyams did a good job on the tiebreaker too, with a pick of 52.

I lost to two pickers who missed making picks in one week and a third who admittedly wanted "to win the Costanza in a laugher at this point," yet couldn't even suck enough to fall behind me. It's a good thing gambling on sports is not legal in this state.
