Montreal continues their turnaround by nailing a time-expiring, game-winning field goal to beat the Lions. Toronto loses both the game and Ricky Ray to the Stamps. The Ti-Cats continue to feast on the Bombers, and the Riders hold tight against a late Eskimo surge.
Competition is fierce at the bottom: if the season ended today, we've have an unprecedented five-way tie for the Costanza.
It's Labour Day Weekend! Enjoy Canadian traditions such as closed liquor stores, strangely scheduled football games, and the Great Vowel Hunt.
WEEK 10
Hamilton @ B.C. (Friday, August 30)
Hamilton has been fattening up on Blue Bomber sandwiches, but Lions are much tougher meal to make.
Winnipeg @ Saskatchewan (Sunday, September 1)
Winnipeg has lost six straight and is badly in need of a break. Saskatchewan is a terrible place to look for one.
Edmonton @ Calgary (Monday, September 2)
Another loser of six straight, Edmonton has lost two consecutive games by three points. That means they're close, right? Guys? Guys?
Montreal @ Toronto (Tuesday, September 3)
Tuesdayriffic! Montreal has been climbing out of their hole and Toronto is hurting. But you've gotta face your division demons sometime.
Good luck!
