Once again the CFL has managed to get the day of the week wrong. Does playing on Thursday have something to do with the changeover from daylight time to standard time? Why do you do this to me, CFL? Ah well, this gives me 3 more chances to get it wrong at least.
Stampeders visit Eskimoville with a chance to make the post-season. Stampeders wind up on thin ice, not due to global warming but rather to hostile hosts. Edmonton by 12.
Montreal at Winnipeg: A day for post-season preparation vs a day for next season rebuilding. Montreal will use this as a full contact scrimmage, but try not to get anyone hurt. Meanwhile, Winnipeg will look at what they have, and those who do play will be looking for next year's job. I look for Winnipeg by 3.
Saskatchewan at BC: BC can relax in this one, as they already have a bye into the semi-finals. Saskatchewan also has little to play for other than picking their next opponent. Maybe Rough Riders have something in mind, so I'll go with Saskatchewan by 9.

With the division clinched, B.C. all but licks the stamp in a mailed-in loss in Calgary. Hamilton finally puts the Bombers out of their misery. Toronto shows some initiative and wins in Regina to clinch a home playoff date. And Montreal keeps us guessing by preventing Edmonton form clinching.
tommy narrows the lead, but bender is still four points up. Will it be enough?

WEEK 19
Hamilton @ Toronto (Thursday, November 1)
Hamilton needs to win to stay in contention. Toronto's home and cool, but it honestly seems like their regulars could use a few more reps.
Calgary @ Edmonton (Friday, November 2)
A win and Edmonton's in, so desperation's on their side. Will Calgary put up much of a fight?
Montreal @ Winnipeg (Saturday, November 3)
Montreal can relax after wrapping up the division title. Winnipeg can relax for less fortunate reasons. Look for the young 'uns playing for 2013 jobs.
Saskatchewan @ B.C. (Saturday, November 3)
This is interesting. Saskatchewan's guaranteed a playoff spot, but a loss this week puts them at risk to be the crossover team. On the other hand, maybe the East road is easier than the West. So I basically have no idea.
