CFL Pick 'Em, Week 14: Last week featured blowouts so massive they'd make Pauly D go FPC. (Relevant!) Turn off MTV and make your picks inside.

Hey everyone!
As DrJ says, I'll be taking over the spreadsheet for the next few weeks. He has shown me how to do it, but I'm not a whiz like he is.
So make sure to double check your scores and points each week until DrJ gets back to make sure that I haven't missed assigning points where points are due!
It's a sprint to the finish, and I wanna keep it honest!
Good luck!

I, too, will be out of the country for a couple weeks, so I'm going to make some preemptive picks for the next few weeks. Since I don't know anything about the CFL, I don't expect they will be any worse than if I made them week to week.

Owlhouse - you picked twice for the Cal/Sask game and left out the Hamilton/Toronto game. Can you send me your Ham/Tor pick and clarify which pick you want to go with for the Cal/Sask game?
If I dont hear from you I'll go with your first game pick which is Cal by 7.

Just 6 more weeks to pick my way to international recognition - be it for excellence or for ignorance. It's far more likely that I will emulate the words of Thoreau and "live my life of quiet desperation" and wind up somewhere in the mediocre middle. So now for the ineffectual attempt to predict the unpredictable.
Montreal goes west to the land of the Blue Bomber seeking a win. The Bombers have had a little trouble on takeoff lately, so I'll pick the Alouettes. Montreal by 9.
Eskimos look to slay some Lions this week. They've been up and down of late, while BC is putting on a pretty good charge. I'll go with Lions by 4.
Saskatchewan is at Calgary this week. Stampeders have not held an opponent under 30 points since week 6. This is no way to stop a Rough Rider. Looks like Riders by 14.
Striped Kitties go down the lake a ways to the big city. There they run into the Argonauts, who would like to send the cats to a shelter. Kitties have sharp claws, and they will use them. Hamilton by 5.

Montreal shows signs of regaining their footing with a strong showing in Edmonton, and B.C. does just the same thing in Calgary, although much more viciously. Toronto wins a weird one at home, and Hamilton gets all the lobster rolls.
Tough sledding this week, but Reever restores his five-point lead as we head into the home stretch.
The standings this week have a 30% chance of being different next week.
WEEK 14
Montreal @ Winnipeg (Friday, September 30)
Montreal heads into Winnipeg with a chance to grab a share of first place. Are they really back on their game?
Edmonton @ B.C. (Friday, September 30)
Remember when B.C. was 1-6? They've now won five in a row and are within two points of first place. A win this week would draw them even with the once-mighty Eskimoes.
Saskatchewan @ Calgary (Saturday, October 1)
These two teams just really want to forget what happened last week. Who knows? Maybe they shake hands and agree on a tie.
Hamilton @ Toronto (Saturday, October 1)
Toronto is not yet mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet. You can bet that Hamilton will be bringing their protractors to town.
One quick programming note: I'm out of the country for a couple weeks, so Reever will be taking over for me. Treat him well!
Good luck!
