CFL Pick 'Em, Week 3: Action starts to heat up as the humidex climbs over 35. Double digits beckon like the glisten of lights on a sweaty shoulder pad. Instead of visualizing that, just make your picks inside.

That was my six point week! Don't feel bad, I only realized that because I was trying to figure out how I scored two points and ended up with five. (I failed reading tables in kindergarten.)

Apparently six years isn't enough time to learn how to read a table. Sorry apoch! And bender!

A friend of mine recently went to see a specialist. Winnipeg by 7. He came back looking quite saddened. Montreal by 18. He said " I've got the big C, I'm afraid." Saskatchewan by 7. "What, cancer?" I asked. Edmonton by 14. "No, dyslexia" he replied.

How dare Calgary and Winnipeg play on Bastille Day!!! I didn't get a chance to put in my pick for that one (probably would have missed it anyway), but here are the rest:
Toronto at Montreal will have nearly the same outcome as the ice version of the same cities. Les Alouettes gagne le victoire par 6. (I think that means Montreal by 6, and I apologize to all Francophones.)
Tiger Cats might extend a bit of claw, but will use it on a scratching post, not on Saskatchewan. Riders by 10.
BC goes to Edmonton, but gets into a snowball fight with the Eskimos. This is not a smart thing to do, so Eskimos win by 4.

Reporting from le Stade Molson: the sun is shining, the beer is cold, and the Argos aren't losing yet. Cheers!

Toronto can't get it going in Winnipeg, while Calgary holds off the Lions' comeback. Montreal takes care of business on the road, and Edmonton does the same at home.
bender has a nice six-point week to jump back into contention, but it's owlhouse and Reever taking over the top spot with four-point weeks.
I think I see a storyline waaay off in the distance.
WEEK 3
Calgary @ Winnipeg (Thursday, July 14) Calgary has lost by two and won by two. So I have no idea how good they actually are yet.
Toronto @ Montreal (Friday, July 15) Toronto's tough road trip continues, with their hosts this week having scored a healthy 18 more points than they've given up in their two games.
Saskatchewan @ Hamilton (Saturday, July 16) Speaking of in tough, that's where Saskatchewan is at 0-2. And wins don't always come easy at Ivor Wynne.
B.C. @ Edmonton (Saturday, July 16) How about them Esks? 2-0 to open the season, and hosting the tough-luck Lions.
Good luck!
