Apoch, British Columbia won by 8, not 12, if that makes a difference.

Updated standings since I screwed up the BC margin of error and missed j5v and rahilsuleman's picks. Thankfully DrJohn should be back for next week, returning us to our normally so well run CFL Pick 'em.

I dunno, folks ... for some reason I'm thinking that this is upset week. With only two games on the schedule, one upset might make it an upset week. But on the other ... dammit ... Montreal is just too good. And I think Winnipeg just might be that bad. How can BC finish in the basement of the west if they keep winning on me like this???
In the end, as much as I'd like to boldly predict a wild upset, I'm gonna bank on the fact that if an upset does occur, it'll probably be in a close contest ... therefore:
Rider Pride exists "everywhere" in this great nation, Montreal is no exception. However, les Quebecois have a much longer tradition. I'll give it to the Als in a nailbiter. Maybe a Duval field goal as the clock runs out or something? Montreal by 2 ... but wouldn't be uber-upset if the Green Riders did spoil this for me.
I just think the Bombers are a mess. Not that the Lions aren't having their share of drama either. Jackson comes in. Jackson goes out. Jackson comes in ... this game, Jackson is in. I think he'll take advantage of it ... but it won't be without some excitement ... special teams or turnovers or something to keep this one close. Lions at home by a single.
Honestly, I think these games will be close. I'm betting more on spread than team.

Yeah, 'cept I'm not so sure how Saskatchewan by 6 yielded you two points for that pick. Otherwise, one helluva week off, DJE!

Headline, Review, and Preview by Reever
Headline:
Nail biters! Blowouts! Multiple spreads are nailed in Week 7! Need a breather? Lessen your work load by half as the CFL takes its first bye week. Make your picks inside.
Week 7 Review:
Edmonton wins Round One of the battle of Alberta in a nail biter at home while Toronto loses a heartbreaker to BC at the Dome after showing signs of life. Montreal walks all over Winnipeg at home and the Roughriders hold off a surging Tiger-Cat team in Regina.
WEEK 8
Saskatchewan (4-3) heads in to Molson Stadium in Montreal to take on the 6-1 Allouettes. Last time these teams met Montreal trounced the Riders 43-13 in Week 3 in Regina. Can an inconsistent Rider team give Montreal a taste of their own medicine?
Winnipeg (2-5) rolls into Vancouver to play the 3-4 BC Lions. These two bottom of the barrel teams have had a rough start to the 2009 season, though Wally Buono's squad is beginning to move in the right direction. Can Winnipeg change their fortunes and move ahead of the Argo's in the East?
Good luck!
